Rural Housing Need Survey

Rural areas are facing specific local challenges such as affordable housing, an ageing population, rural isolation, and reduced accessibility. Rural communities make up 50% of Wiltshire’s population living in 95% of the geographic area. We have recently begun a 5 year rolling programme of rural housing needs surveys in collaboration with parish councils and partner housing associations in order to help better understand the needs of our rural communities.
