Education and employment

Improving young people’s outcomes in education will improve their opportunities later in life, including their employment options, which will be a factor in residents’ quality of life. This section of the JSNA contains comparative analyses of a range of indicators including education levels, free school meal provision, SEN, employment and pay rates, employment gaps and economic inactivity.
