Trowbridge
Trowbridge Community Area covers 42km2 and lies on the western border of Wiltshire. Trowbridge is the county town of Wiltshire.
The community area contains five parishes characterised by villages set in a well farmed rural landscape. The town itself is rich in heritage with it’s iconic mill buildings and museum. Trowbridge is one of the most populous community area in Wiltshire. It is an area of new house building and inward migration.
Trowbridge provides shops, schools and services for a wide catchment area. The recently opened St Stephen’s place leisure park includes a cinema, hotel and several popular dining establishments.
Population

Wiltshire as a whole is a fairly affluent local authority, however there are pockets of deprivation. A map of deprivation in Trowbridge Community Area is provided below.
